Luther Memorial Education Endowment Lutheran Student Scholarship
The Luther Memorial Education Endowment Scholarship will award two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors entering college, university, or technical school in the fall of 2025; or to any student already enrolled in a higher education program. One scholarship is for any student who is a member of an ELCA Lutheran congregation; the other is for any BIPOC
(Black, Indigenous Person of Color) student in the Blacksburg community. Application opens March 5th and is due on May 1st; funds will be awarded in June, payable directly to the student’s learning institution.
Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year scholarships will open March 1, 2025.
Luther Memorial Education Endowment BIPOC Student Scholarship
Luther Memorial Lutheran Church awards a scholarship to a qualified high school graduate who identifies as a BIPOC individual (Black, Indigenous Person of Color). This student may be a member of a Lutheran congregation, a participant in The Well Campus Ministry, or may come from the community at-large. Applicants should provide personal
data and requested information by completing this application; supporting documents may be attached (do not attach originals). Scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year have been awarded. Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year scholarships will open March 1, 2025.
